Thick Skin

Comedy at its Rawest

Enjoy comedy the way it’s intended. No holds barred, no punches pulled, and no f**ks given. Watch seasoned pros and future stars battle each other for supremacy. Good sets will be awarded, bad sets will be punished. Feelings will be hurt, fun will be had.

Hosted by Greg Baumhauer and Mike Stanley. Baumhauer named the “Dark Prince of Colfax” by the Westword is who is known for running the raucous and raunchy Squire Lounge Comedy Night, dubbed the “meanest mic in America”, helped cultivate the careers of some of Denver’s most accomplished comedians, and ended others before they started. A fifteen year veteran in the Denver comedy scene, and winner of the 2007 New Talent Contest, Greg returns to doing what he does best-making fun of new comedians.

Greg’s co-host Mike Stanley the host of Food Network’s Food: Fact Or Fiction, was named “Best Chicago Stand-up Comedian” in a Peoples Choice poll done by the Chicago Reader and “Best Detroit Comedian” by HOUR Magazine. Another fifteen year comedy veteran, Mike tours internationally and has performed at several festivals including the Oddball Comedy Festival, and TBS Just For Laughs Festival. Insightful, crass and just plain hilarious, Mike has recently moved to the Mile High City and we couldn’t be happier to have him.

Comedy is at its best when it isn’t scared to tell the truth. So let’s stop pretending that the world is nice and fair, and help us celebrate each other by pointing out our differences and similarities that make us all amazing and utterly stupid.

Thick Skin may not be for everybody, but everyone should see it!
