Andrew Orvedahl

Andrew Orvedahl is a stand-up comedian from Denver, Colorado, who has spent the last fifteen years performing in clubs, colleges and comedy festivals from coast to coast. His stand-up has been seen on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, as well as Last Call with Carson Daly and Flophouse on Vice. He is also the co-creator and co-star of the sitcom Those Who Can’t, which is set to debut its third season on TruTV this winter.

Andrew’s comedy style mixes observational jokes with true stories. His debut album, Hit the Dick Lights, was one of the top ten comedy albums in Time Out New York magazine, and averages 18,000 listens a month on Spotify.

Currently Andrew splits his time between Los Angeles and Denver, and is hard at work writing some new shows and movies.

Josh Wolf is high energy, charismatic, and funny on stage but would you believe he is that way off stage too? Well you should! Josh is a just as much fun off stage as he is on. Between his instagram posts giving fun parenting advice to his weekly show Chaos with Josh on youtube, he is never not having fun. His podcast with Freddie Prinze Jr., Prinze and the Wolf, is full of silliness and admiration for one another’s work. If you don’t have Josh Wolf in your life, you need to do yourself a favor and enjoy his stories and silliness!

Jamie Lee is Making Waves!

It is huge honor to be compared to Tina Fey and Jamie Lee has earned that honor. Last week an article from Coveteur had an in depth interview with Lee about how she got started, the show Crashing, and women in stand up. It was a refreshing read to hear this strong role model and how her hard work has gotten her to where she is. But most of all the optimism for the future of women in comedy. We are proud to have this lady on our stage any time! Congratulations Jamie!

Kurt Braunohler Makes the World a Better Place

Everyone should have a friend like Kurt Braunohler. He lives life to entertain himself as well as complete strangers. His stand-up philosophy is “Inserting absudity into strangers’ lives to make the world a better place.” He applies this to his personal life too! He hired a sky writer, then had a party on a roof top so all his friends could read it. It read “How do I land?” Here is a picture just in case you don’t believe it.

We are excited to see comedians that have graced Comedy Works stage releasing new comedy specials.

Megan Gailey is a refreshing new female comic that everyone should have on their radar. Having Conan appearances, Comedy Central ClusterFest, and Just for Laughs showcase has given her the chops for her new half hour special on Comedy Central.

Tim Dillion is a New York based comic that is killing in the comedy scene. We saw him first touring with Dan Soder, local favorite, and now he can bee seen on his new half hour special on Comedy Central Friday, 10/19 at 11:00pm.

Sarah Tiana is a force of nature, as you can see from her near win on Roast Battle. Sarah is an incredibly unique voice with a new perspective. Check out her new half hour special on Comedy Central Friday, 10/19 at 11:30pm.

It is so great to see comedians that we have loved for so long get this amazing opportunity! Congratulations, everyone!
