Anthony Jeselnik on Kimmel

Anthony Jeselnik is known for his perfectly crafted dark jokes. Being recorded right after Father’s day, Anthony talks about how he got the Pittsburgh Pirates to let his dad throw out the first pitch on his 70th birthday. Such an awesome gift from an awesome son. Of course this quickly turns into a conversation about his dark sense of humor and how it plays with crowds. Sure at this point many comedians have done stand up comedy in prisons, but Jeselnik’s humor was not welcome at San Quentin Penitentiary when he “opened” for Queens of the Stone Age. Watch the clip for the full story.

Lights Out with David Spade

David Spade’s new late show is premiering July 29th. Lights Out with David Spade will take the prime show spot after The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. You can’t tell much from the promo video that Comedy Central put up but we anticipate a light hearted, silly take on pop culture with appearances from Spade’s funny comedian and celebrity friends. Leaving the political humor to The Daily Show, Lights Out could be a nice change of pace for the audience. Make sure you tune in or set it up to record. You will not want to miss it!

Taylor Tomlinson: Young and Brilliant

Taylor Tomlinson maybe young but has a brilliant take on dating and relationships. Taylor takes all of this advice with  a grain of salt.  Conan is Talyor’s comedy father and what a great mentor to have. Come see one of the best up and coming comics at Comedy Works Downtown in Larimer Square May 8th – 11th.

Kumail goes on to mention people like Jerry Seinfeld and Mitch Hedberg. Then goes on to say ” Jake Johannsen, who is really really funny.
