On episode three of 2 Bears 1 Cave, the newest podcast from #ThiccBoys Tom Segura and Bert Kreischer, the pair talk about a show they pitched that didn’t make it on television. The show, Buzzed, was a cash cab style game show where random people were picked up from a bar on a party bus and drank while trying to win money. Contestants would party and drink with Bert, while playing ridiculous games written by Tom. As you can imagine, the games escalated and became something the two would never expect. We may never get to see the show but enjoy this clip of them describing the craziness that Comedy Central wouldn’t air. Do these look familiar?
Anyone who has been to Comedy Works in the past year or so can relate to the phenomenon that is Yondr. Yondr is a company that prides itself in creating a phone-free environment. These little sleeping bags for your phone are made out of soft, durable material that lock with the shut of a magnet. The bags keep you from using your phone during an event but it does not block your service.
Since the creation of Yondr in 2014, huge names like comedian Dave Chappelle and musician Donald Glover have utilized Yondr on their tours. Fast forward 4 years and Yondr is being used in schools. Students at a Massachusetts high school are subjected to Yondr bags all day long and do not get unlocked until dismissal time. Other schools reported using Yondr in Canada, New York and Nevada.
What are your opinions on using Yondr in schools?
Does that guy in the green square look familiar?

Adam say about the book, “Since I was a child, I’ve always wanted to publish a book – long before comedy or anything. When people asked me what I was going to be when I grew up, I told them, ‘A writer.’ But I never in a million years would have thought the subject matter of my first book would be the suicide of my little sister, whom I love and miss so much. I’m excited and heartbroken… I’m sure anyone who has suffered through such a major loss can relate. But this book helped me grieve… And as sad as it is, I did my best to make it funny and honest too, like Lydia was. Like my family is. It’s a tribute to the littlest member of our clan who burned so brightly, and it’s an honest look at mental illness and mourning. So pre-order the book if you feel so inclined. Get to know an amazing person gone too soon, one I miss and love dearly. Every single day.”
